\J	I received today, at long last, your check for my participation in
Controversy.

	I have received the tapes you sent--which according to the labels is
the final edited version rather than the recording of what actually was said.
Since I wanted to compare the actual performance with the final version, the
tapes are not of much use for me.  I suppose it was the BBC's intention that
I should not be able to make this comparison.\.
